Get Ready! Get Set! Go!

Do you think you’ve got enough knowledge regarding Florida’s Race To the Top initiatives to win some great prizes? Check out our polls and surveys to see how much knowledge you have on this critical topic!

The FLDOE website is packed full of helpful information regarding the Race to the Top initiatives.  Test your knowledge by answering the Question of the Week.  Each Monday, we will post a question on our teacher’s blog: https://educatorsfl.wordpress.com/.   You will then have an opportunity to respond to the question via polling that will begin on Tuesday at 9 a.m. (EST) through PollEverywhere.com.  You may either Tweet your answer, log on to the polleverywhere.com site to answer, or text your answer (standard texting rates will apply).  You must be one of the first 30 correct entries to be eligible for a drawing to win a prize. Be sure to include your name and school with your answer so we may contact you if you are our chosen winner.  Winners will be randomly selected from all correct entries.

This weeks question is:

What does the acronym DDSAIE stand for?

This weeks prize is a $25 gift card to Walmart.  Polling will open tomorrow at 9am: http://www.polleverywhere.com/free_text_polls/LTE0OTM3NzE4MTQ

I have tried repeatedly to open the link for the poll. It says: loading the poll, but nothing opens. I guess I have missed out on this chance. I hope it can be fixed before next week. I had the right answer this week.

Thank you for your interest in our weekly contest. The poll will only take the first 30 answers and we were full by 9:07. Thanks for trying and be on the lookout for next weeks question.

Hi my name is Steve from Poll Everywhere. I love the contest and the unique application of our system!

I have a suggestion for streamlining your contest. You can actually embed a web voting widget or live chart widget right into your blog! When you’ve created a poll, check out the “publish and share” options (on the right). Click the blog and website option, and you will see instructions for embedding the widgets.

    Happy polling!

    Steve
